Merrill Mael began his radio career at KEVR and KOL in Seattle in 1939, moving up to KOMO-KJR and then on to NBC in Hollywood in 1941, where his resonant voice was heard on a number of network shows. After many years working in Alaska broadcasting, he returned to the Puget Sound area as a financial consultant. In retirement, he was regularly heard on Jim French’s “Imagination Theater”.
