KROW Talent Contest, 1959

One of the last promotional events organized by KROW was a 1959 talent contest. On Saturday, February 7, auditions were held at radio KROW broadcast studios in the Radio Center Building.   This was a co-sponsored event between the radio station and the Paramount Theatre.  Thirteen finalist acts competed on stage of the Paramount on February 13, The winner was to receive a recording session in the KROW studios.  Announcer Walt Jamond was the KROW emcee for the event.  We can't find any records of who the contestants or winners were.
