Handsome singer Tommy Harris was just 14 years old when his
smooth baritone voice took the
West by storm on KFRC's Al Pearce Show. In the 1930s, he
and Joaquin Garay were regular performers on KFRC's "Feminine Fancies".
He was also heard on the NBC Red Networkas a regular
featured singer on "The Fibber McGee and Molly Show" (the above photo
is from 1937). In later years, Tommy
opened a popular night spot on Geary Avenue which is still a familiar
name to San Franciscans.
